A One Piece comic from my Crocodad AU, a conversation between a very young Luffy and Crocodile in his office. Luffy asks "So you're my mom too?" "I'm your father." Crocodile insist, holding his face, his expression somewhere between frustration and apprehension. "Yes, but since you gave birth to me, that means you're also my mom!" "No, I-" "My dadmom!" Luffy start running around happily chanting "My momdad! My dmad! My dod. My mod?" He throw his arm in the air and with a triumphant smile screams "My boymom!!" The next panel shows Crocodile mortified, his hook has torn into the armchair his sitting in. His face is hidden in a nervous grip. Luffy shocked, realize he has hurt his father. Three panels shows him slowly climbing the armchair to reach Crocodile, as he hugs him he says "My dad-dad?". Crocodile stay silent before slowly, painfully, turning his face toward him "You can't tell anyone about this, understood?" His expression hidden to the viewer. Luffy begins to lower himself, to sit in his father's laps. "Why not?" "It's nobody's business." "... Okay." Now looking at Crocodile he listen as his father asks "You promise?" "I promise." Crocodile hugs him tightly, his hook pointed away from his son. Luffy looks happy. In the last panel, Crocodile hunched over, holds Luffy closer, lets out a "... Thank you." His speech bubble shaking. His face still mostly obscured hide his expression, Luffy looks at him concerned.ALT

i’m seeing some people misunderstanding the first comic, Robin knows Crocodile isn’t transphobic she’s messing with him 1. because it’s funny 2. because she knows how lonely Luffy is and doesn’t want him to be even more isolated, she’s hoping that with some manipulation and guilt-tripping she can get Crocodile to let Luffy hangs out with other people more.

i also wanted to make it unclear either or not she’d figured out Crocodile is trans, which if she has, would make this interaction really funny :’D
